Dr Erica Bacher is a licensed psychologist practicing both in the Virginia Highlands and Buckhead areas. She works with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds who are facing a broad range of issues. Dr. Bacher has also worked extensively in the area of health psychology, which involves helping individuals to better manage chronic medical conditions, to implement lifestyle changes, and to improve overall health. She works hand-in-hand with medical treatment teams to provide a holistic approach to treatment, which addresses an individual’s physical and emotional well being. Dr. Bacher has provided consultation services for physicians and has spent time facilitating a number of support groups in medical settings. She has also spent time teaching and training family medicine residents to help them be more effective in treating and interacting with their patients.
